Short About the Case:

DGI wanted to create better opportunities for girls and women to participate in esports, as the current participation rates were much lower compared to men.

The Issue:

Women and girls faced barriers to entry in esports, including a lack of role models, appropriate facilities, and supportive communities.

The Solution I Brought:

I helped facilitate a group within DGI that focused on addressing these issues. Through targeted initiatives, workshops, and community-building activities, we worked to create a more inclusive environment for women and girls in esports.

The Result:

More girls and women began to participate in esports within DGI’s network, and the initiative gained national attention for its efforts to create a more inclusive esports environment.

Short About the Organisation:

DGI is a Danish sports organization dedicated to supporting grassroots sports and inclusivity through a variety of programs and initiatives.
