Short About the Case:

DreamHack Leipzig and the Esports Business Forum wanted to deepen their understanding of grassroots esports and community-driven gaming.

The Issue:

The event organizers recognized that while esports was growing, many esports events still struggled to connect with local communities and grassroots initiatives.

The Solution I Brought:

By providing expert talks and leading discussions at the Esports Business Forum and DreamHack Leipzig, I shared insights into the importance of grassroots esports and how local communities can be involved in the esports ecosystem. I explained how community-driven initiatives and passionate volunteers are key to building successful esports events

The Result:

Both events were able to incorporate more community-oriented elements into their planning and saw increased engagement from local gaming communities, driving up attendance and involvement.

Short About the Organisation:

DreamHack Leipzig is one of Europe’s premier esports festivals, while the Esports Business Forum focuses on bringing together industry leaders to discuss the business of esports.
